    1. Disable all ICC profiles

    You can do this by:

  • Pressing Start
  • Open Control Panel
  • Type “Color management” and click on the first result
  • In the newly opened window, enter the Device tab
  • Select the desired monitor from there
  • Check the Use my settings box
  • Click the Remove button.

    2. Tweak Calibration Loader settings

    You can do this by:

  • Pressing Start
  • Open Control Panel
  • Type “Task Scheduler” and click on the first result
  • In the newly opened window, enter the Task Scheduler Library sub-menu
  • Select Microsoft
  • Click on Windowstask scheduler windows
  • Enter WindowsColorSystem.
  • Within that folder, there is a Calibration Loader task.windows color system settings task scheduler
  • Right click on the folder
  • Select Properties
  • Select the Settings tab on the top
  • Uncheck/Disable the “Allow task to be run on demand”
  • Then right click on the task again and Disable it.
  • Perform a system reboot

    • Following these steps may solve any color banding issues on Nvidia graphics cards caused by the Windows 10 May 2019 Update.
