    4. Manually add the webcam to Device Manager

  • First, users will need to open Run with the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut.
  • Input devmgmt.msc within Run’s Open text box and click OK to open Device Manager.
  • Then click View > Show hidden devices.
  • Click Action and select Add legacy hardware to open the window shown directly below.
  • Press the Next button.
