Those who enjoy the awesome Call of Duty game on their Xbox, PlayStation or even on the PC through Steam, will be happy to make use of the official Windows 8 companion app for more features and options. Even more now, that it has received the latest update which, according to the official changelog, brought the “Create-A-Solider” asset optimization. At the moment, the app is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian languages and, unfortunately, won’t work with Windows RT.

Call of Duty for Windows 8 welcomes new assets
To access the new Call of Duty® app, please create a free Call of Duty® account from the login page, or use a pre-existing Call of Duty® Elite account username/password. Your Call of Duty® account will need to be linked to an Xbox Live, PlayStation® Network or Steam profile that has played at least one multiplayer match in a supported Call of Duty®: Ghosts game. The Call of Duty® app provides a new tablet experience designed to work hand-in-hand with Call of Duty®: Ghosts.
